Florida’s primary elections will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Voters must verify their polling place before going to the polls. This consultation is especially important for those who changed their address. People who updated their name or party affiliation should also review their registration.

The Florida Division of Elections allows voters to search for their assigned precinct by county. The official tool is available at the voter precinct and polling place lookup. The assigned location may differ from the polling place used during early voting. Therefore, verifying the address prevents arriving at the wrong school, library, or community center.

When and Where Can You Vote?

On Election Day, polling places will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The hours correspond to the local time of the county. Anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. can vote. Authorities must allow people in line to complete the voting process.

Those who arrive after closing cannot enter the line. Therefore, it is advisable to arrive early enough to park, present identification, and complete your ballot. Early voting takes place from August 8-15 in all 67 counties. Each Supervisor of Elections publishes the available hours and polling places.

During early voting, voters can go to any designated polling place within their county. This flexibility does not apply in the same way on Election Day. In Miami-Dade, polling places include libraries, election offices, and community buildings. The county publishes the addresses and hours on its official early voting schedule.

How to Find Your Polling Place by County?

Miami-Dade residents must use the Supervisor of Elections portal. There they can consult their precinct, registration status, and a sample ballot. Broward voters should access the county Supervisor of Elections search tool. The tool also allows reviewing districts and identification requirements.

In Palm Beach, the Supervisor of Elections offers a similar search tool. Residents can confirm their voting address and review the ballot before voting. Monroe also offers a digital lookup. Voters must enter the requested information to find their assigned polling place.
