ALERT: Police Fear Five Women Are Dead Following Discovery in Philadelphia

What began as an investigation into an illegally parked vehicle has become a major case. Police fear that five women may be dead, although the investigation remains open. So far, no confirmed homicide charges have been filed.

How did this investigation begin?

In June, police found Eugene Horsch, age 44, parked illegally in a reserved space. He had a woman in the back seat of his vehicle.

According to a criminal complaint, investigators found weapons, drugs, and a fake DEA identification. Authorities clarified that Horsch never worked for that federal agency.

Additionally, the woman accompanying him had a puzzling identification. According to police, it showed her photo but with the name of a missing woman.

What did police find in Horsch’s house?

During a search of the home in the Olney neighborhood, police found more drugs and weapons. They also discovered a large amount of digital evidence, including videos.

According to police, some videos could be linked to Horsch’s deceased father. Among the material were photos and videos of at least five women apparently unconscious.

At a press conference this Wednesday, police said they are still working to corroborate that evidence. It is important to clarify that so far, no physical evidence or bodies have been found.

Horsch was arrested following that traffic stop on weapons-related charges. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.

Who is Eugene Horsch’s father?

During the June search, police found more than one million digital images. They also discovered thousands of videos stored on various electronic devices.

According to police, Eugene Horsch may not have recorded those videos. Instead, they point to his father, Raymond «RC» Horsch, as a possible creator of some recordings.

As previously reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer, the father was known as a drug manufacturer and filmmaker of violent content. Police sources believed that part of the material could correspond to fictional scripts.

Horsch’s father died last year, which complicates the current investigation. Additionally, according to WPVI, he was previously married to a woman who disappeared in 2016.

What did the videos analyzed by police show?

At the press conference, Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore described a new video analyzed by detectives. It would show a woman being strangled until appearing lifeless, he explained.

According to Vanore, there are also other images of unconscious women with visible injuries. This is in addition to recordings revealed in August that would show two more women «apparently dead.»

However, Vanore clarified that part of the material could correspond to acting. He stated: «We know that part of this is acting and we believe that part could be real.»

Therefore, police are working with the FBI to determine which images are real. There is still no official confirmation regarding the authenticity of all the material found.

Who are the women linked to the investigation?

In the basement of the house, police found five urns with presumed human remains. Three are believed to belong to RC Horsch, his sister, and a close friend.
