Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing his formal entry into television with a dramatic series focused on the football business, gradually moving away from the pitch following Portugal’s elimination in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup.

The project, titled “Day 1s,” will have the Portuguese star as executive producer and also as part of the cast. The series is being developed in partnership with British director Matthew Vaughn, known for the “Kingsman” film saga and other action productions.

Although it is fiction, the story will focus on the world of football agents and the power of major negotiations. For many analysts, the project marks another step in Ronaldo’s transition toward a media and business career off the field.

According to information published by British newspaper “The Sun” and picked up by specialized outlets like Deadline, “Day 1s” will tell the story of a football agent named Stanley Dalton. The main character, played by Damian Lewis, moves through the universe of multimillion-dollar contracts and decisions that can change the careers of his clients.
